Review of Pink Zebra Sprinkles

"Sprinkles are a soy based wax that are that are blended with high quality fragrance oils at super concentrated levels to deliver up to 50% MORE fragrance & last longer than other products on the market. They are small in size them easy to mix with each other to make your own fragrance recipe, as well as make a candle out of them – or use them in a warmer.
They are eco-friendly, non-toxic, & does not emit carcinogens when being warmed." - Shauna

For more info go to:

These wax bits are super strong and fill a whole room within minutes of being warmed.

In this picture below I just used my candle warmer and an empty Bath & Body Works jar to melt my sprinkles, but it's suggested to melt them on a wax warmer or Pink Zebra simmer pots (last pic at the bottom).

#1: Honeysuckle Hugs - smells just like fresh honeysuckles.
#2: Mixture of Honeysuckle Hugs, Sweet Pea&Lily, Fresh Raspberry,
and Grape Popsicle scents- smells mostly like a real grape Popsicle.

Review of Bath and Body Works Pineapple Palm Grass Candle 2014

Pineapple Palm Grass: A fresh tropical fragrance inspired by the beautiful pineapple fields and exotic green foliage of the Hawaiian Islands

3-wick candle

This candle smells like fresh cut pineapple or fresh pineapple juice on cold throw. While burning I  also get a  toasted coconut scent mixed in, which is awesome, because it makes it more tropical.

1st day and 2nd day burns: The wax  evenly pooled in less than 50 minutes but it still had  no scent throw. I could only start to smell it after nearly 2 hours, but it was light and barely there. However, it did get stronger after the 2 hours.

3rd day: I had it burning in my bedrrom today to see if it would perform better in a smaller room. I went to check on it after 30 minutes and the scent had started to kick in, but it was still light. The wax evenly pooled after an hour. After 3 hours of burning that day, it really surprised me, it had filled up my whole bedroom and going forward it kept getting stronger.

Review of Bath and Body Works Lavender Vanilla Candle 2014

Lavender Vanilla: An unforgettable fragrance! You'll love this blend of timeless lavender and creamy vanilla, with touches of cedarwood, delicate jasmine and citrus.

3-wick candle

Really great candle! I love the scent and the wax would always evenly pools in less than an hour.

I've burned it for three times so far. On the first two days that I burned it, it was not that strong, but that all changed by the third day. On the third day It filled up almost my whole living room after 2 hours of being lit.

I could really smell that great lavender scent paired with a hint of creaminess, which was probably the vanilla I was smelling.

Review of Bath and Body Works Espresso Bar Candle 2014

Espresso Bar: Stop and savor the aromas of roasted espresso beans and sweet vanilla froth like the Italians, who never take their coffee “to go.”

This candle is part of the Italian collection.

I would definitely recommend purchasing this candle, especially of your a coffee lover. It has a really authentic coffee bean scent but it smells more like a mocha, because of that added vanilla note. I've burned it about 4 times so far and it's performed well each, and every time. It always had high flames and a scent throw so strong that it would linger up to my second floor. I left it sitting with no lid on my table one day, not even lit, and I could still smell it so strongly around that area.

Review of Bath and Body Works Mahogany Teakwood Candle 2013

Mahogany Teakwood: Revel in the cozy fine woods fragrances of mahogany, cedarwood and oak, highlighted by delicate lavender and geranium notes.

This candle is definitely one of my all time favorites. It smells like amazingly good cologne and the flames are always high. I don't really have anything bad to say about this candle, except that I don't like when the wax turns that yucky dark color after the candle has burnt down about three quarters.

Lastly, if you haven't tried this one yet, you need to go get one now :)

Review of Bath and Body Works Forever Red Candle 2014

Forever Red: A passionate blend of pomegranate & red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum

It smells exactly like the Velvet Sugar body products. It's smaller than a 3-wick, its only 7.5 oz, where as the 3 wicks are 14.5 oz. The retail price was $20 but I got it for 50% during the 2013/2014 Semi Annual Sale.

1st Burn: I burned it in my bedroom. I could start to smell it within 20 minutes. The scent filled up my whole bedroom,  the hallway and even down the stairs. It smells like peaches, flowers, sugar, marshmallow and it has the tiniest hint of musk.

2nd Burn: For this day I burned it in my livingroom and for some reason even after 2 hours I could only smell it up close. Than finally after that 2 hours I could start to smell that same scent from the first day, but it was not really that strong. Today it had a super high flame but it was not smoking up or anything, it was barely even moving, which I liked.

3rd Burn: Today I decided to burn it in my bedroom again and it was perfect, it preformed just like the first day.

Review of Bath and Body Works London Calling Candle 2014

London Calling: Delight your mates with a fragrance fit for the Queen. A royal blend of tea, lemon and sugar transport your senses across the pond.

This is a really good candle, you can actually smell the tea and lemon notes in it. I've burned it four times so far, and the performance has been the same during all the days. The scent always started to kick in within 15 to 20 minutes of lighting it. The flames were always high. The wax did take over an hour for all three days to evenly pool, but it didn't really matter because the scent was there from the beginning. The scent would fill my whole house and even lingered up to the second floor within an hour of being lit, which was fantastic.

It's been compared to the Cinnamon Tea candle and they're both very strong candles. I would say they're basically the same, except Cinnamon tea has those added berry and cinnamon notes.

Review of Bath and Body Works Strawberry Sorbet Candle 2014

Strawberry Sorbet: A cool, new treat to delight your senses, sorbet made from the sweetest, sun-ripened strawberries, spun sugar and a touch of vanilla.

1st and 2nd Burn: Both days it was the same. Barely any scent, took about 1 hour or more for the wax to evenly pool, and the flames were really low and drowning.

3rd Burn: After an hour I could start to smell a lightly sweet and creamy type of scent but it was barely there. The flames were really low so after like 2 hours of burning,  I used some cotton balls to absorb some of the wax out and that helped to increase the flame size. Then the scent did get a tiny bit stronger, but it still was light and you could only smell it around the candle; it did  not linger anywhere else

Review of Bath and Body Works Watermelon Lemonade Candle 2014

Watermelon Lemonade: Quench your thirst for long, summer days with this refreshing mixture of watermelon ice, sparkling water and freshly squeezed Meyer lemons.

1st Burn: I could start to smell it very quickly  after lighting it. I lit it in my bedroom on the first day and
it filled my whole room up with that sweet watermelon bubblegum and that zesty lemonade scent
After 3 hours the scent filled up my whole second floor as well.

2nd Burn: It had a good scent throw and it kicked in very quickly. It got stronger as it burned, and the flames were high throughout the whole burn.

3rd Burn:  I could start to smell it after 40 minutes, and just like the first 2 days it had that sweet, juicy watermelon flavoured gum scent with that bit of citrus. The wax was evenly pooled  around less than an hour and the flames were great.

I have stronger scented candles, but this one is not bad at all. Would definitely recommend it.

Review of Bath and Body Works Raspberry Peach Macaron Candle 2014

Raspberry Peach Macaron: The ultimate French cookie is celebrated in a unique blend of ripe raspberries, juicy peach and almond cream.

The first 2 days of burning this candle was awesome, but by the 3rd day that all changed.

1st Burn:  Flames were super high soon as I lit it and I could smell the scent almost right away.
It smelt really creamy like Campino Peaches and cream flavored candy. It took less than an hour for  the wax to evenly pool and the scent was exactly the same while burning as it was on cold throw. It even lingered after I blew it out..

2nd Burn: Flames were really high again as soon as I lit it, so high that they were smoking up pretty bad for awhile. The wax evenly pooled after 30 minutes and it didnt take long for me to smell the scent either. It was really strong and had an amazing scent throw that whole day.

3rd Burn: I started to smell it after 20 minutes and the wax was evenly pooled after 45 minutes
The scent throw just kept getting stronger and stronger as it burned. BUT after burning for 3 hours on the  it started to smoke up my house and kind of smell like there was a cake burning in the oven. When you smelled it up close it smelled more like cigarette smoke. It just got so gross. After I blew out and it cooled down the wicks bent over like a cane and got stuck in the wax.(picture below)

Sunday 2 February 2014

Review of Bath and Body Works Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut Candle 2014

Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut: Share the delight of a freshly-baked vanilla cake doughnut covered in sugar crystals and crushed cinnamon.

1st Burn:  Scent pooled after 1 hour, the flames at that point were really and the wicks had formed nice, big mushroom tops. I could smell some sweet and sugary cake scent after an hour, it was kind of faint though..
Then after 2 hours it got much stronger, it didn't fill my whole house but it did fill my whole living room.

2nd Burn: After1 hour I started to lightly smell the candle but the wax still wasn't evenly pooled.
That day it took 1 hour and about 20 minutes to evenly pool, but the scent was still weak at this point
The flames were really high  though and the wicks had once again formed mushroom tops.
Then after 2 hours of being lit,  the scent grew much stronger. Just like the fist burn the scent didn't fill my whole house but it did fill all of my living room with its sweet cakey scent. Then by the 3rd hour it actually got much more intense and sweet, it even lingered after I blew it out.

3rd Burn:  I could lightly start to smell the scent after 30 minutes of being lit and at that point the wax hadn't evenly pooled yet, but the flames were super high. The mushroom tops werent that big on the wicks today compared to the first 2 days. After 45 minutes of being lit, the scent really grew, and then the wax evenly pooled 10 minutes later following it. So it took about 55 minutes for it evenly pool after being lit. Then after 1 hour and a half of being lit, the scent throw was in full force, really strong and sweet. It filled up my whole Living room, but it didn't linger out side of it.
